COMEDY | 'Don't Grab My Pussy 2.0'

After America's illustrious commander-in-grief bragged about assaulting women on tape and his administration launched attacks on women's sexual and reproductive services, some locals led by comedian Kelsey Claire Hagan took a stand with standup. The inaugural "Don't Grab My Pussy" event held in the fall of 2016 featured monologues, poetry readings, and comedy, and raised $3,300 for RESTORE Sexual Assault Services — a program that provides an advocate for anyone who reports sexual assault, abuse, or rape. The show hit the road in 2017, raising funds for Crisis Services in Buffalo, and for Pittsburgh Action Against Rape. A new iteration of the event will be presented in town this week, in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month and in the wake of the #metoo and #timesup movements.

"Don't Grab My Pussy 2.0" takes place Thursday, April 5. Flour City Station, 170 East Avenue. 8 to 11 p.m. The show is 21+ and admission is $10. All proceeds will go to RESTORE Sexual Assault Services. flourcitystation.com.
