KISS and Motley Crue are probably the only two in a pile of almost-vintage rock bands that haven't undone their cool or stayed at the party too long. It's interesting to point out that both bands owe a debt of gratitude to The New York Dolls, a band that left the party too early, and which inspired KISS and the Crue with its glam hedonism and fatal attraction to excess. I've seen both the bands in the last few years and both give the fans what we want. Nothing new, but it's what we want nonetheless.
