Boston Globe has labeled Lucy Kaplansky as “ becoming the troubador laureate of modern city folk. Lucy got her start in the folk scene of Greenwich Village where she sang as part of Cry, Cry, Cry as well as solo.. With a side trip to pursue a Ph.d. in Psychology and practice, we are glad that Lucy decided to return to her music careerl. Lucy brings her insight into people’s feelings and motivations into her songs. Opening for Lucy is Lisa Bigwood who has had her own share of accaim as a songwriter at folk festivals.
