This exhibition features two decades of quilt squares made by the students in Dr. Alisia Chase’s Women in Art course. For their final project, students create a quilt square honoring a female artist they have learned about during the semester. In doing so, they also begin to comprehend the painstaking labor that women throughout history put into sewing their families’ clothing and textiles.
