Painting the Open Land, Genesee Land Trust's first plein air art event, is an opportunity for local artists to paint the views and landscapes including Lake Ontario, meadows and orchards, woods, and winding trails of the 77-acre Cornwall Preserve. All artists are welcome to participate. $10 artist registration includes participation, snacks, water, and online art show. From dawn to dusk, visitors are welcome to stop by the property to take a walk, enjoy the early fall breeze off the lake, and admire the work of the artists who will be painting at various locations throughout the day.
